NORTH MARIN GROUPS CELEBRATE MERGER

NEW NORTH MARIN COMMUNITY SERVICES: Two hundred and twenty-five guests attended the North Marin Community Services Merger Luncheon on Feb. 15 to celebrate the merger of Novato Youth Center and Novato Human Needs Center. The guests and sponsors helped raise $50,000 in gross proceeds that will go to support the merger costs and programs that benefit youth and families in need. MUSICAL SCHOLARSHIPS:For the 25th year, Mayflower Choral Society is offering scholarships of $250 or more. Awards are offered in three categories:vocal performance; composing/arranging;choral directing. Northern California candidates, age 16 and older, may apply.  More information and an application packet can be requested at admin@mayflowerchorus.org, or (415) 883-4078. The application deadline is April 24. In-person auditions will be May 19 in San Rafael.
