MARIN WOMEN’S HALL OF FAME

Marin Women’s Hall of Fame celebrated the 2018 inductees,  Patricia Arrigoni, Cyane Dandridge, Wendy Dreskin, Trisha Garlock and Jane Kramer, at its annual event on March 29 at Peacock Gap in San Rafael. Dr. Jane Kramer, one of this year’s Marin Women’s Hall of Fame inductees, founded Enriching Lives through Music (ELM) in 2008 to address disparities in opportunities for children living in the Canal neighborhood of San Rafael. The ELM Cello Kids performed at the event.  -Photo by Mark Reynolds

The Mayflower Choral  Society held the “Party Like it’s Mardi Gras!” dinner dance on March 24 at the Corte Madera Recreation Center. The event raised $13,000 for Mayflower’s programs and scholarships. Theater arts teacher and producer Marilyn Izdebski was presented with the Friend of Marin Arts award.
