VOLUNTEER AT THE MARIN HEADLANDS NURSERY
May 2 @ 8:00 am - October 15 @ 5:00 pm
The Marin Headlands Nursery team of staff and volunteers grow plants to preserve and restore the Marin Headlands. Volunteer support is the only way that the nursery can succeed and ensure that each plant can get the care it needs to thrive. The nursery is growing over 35,000 plants for the many important projects this year, including Hawk Hill and Rodeo Valley Trail. Volunteer programs involve something different each season and each week. Activities may include transplanting seedlings, pruning plants, processing seeds for the next growing season, maintaining the facility, or something else that is fun and outdoors. Community volunteer days are the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays, 10 a.m.-2:00 p.m., Wednesdays, 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m., and Saturdays, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Find out more at parkconservancy.org.
