The Golden Gate Computer Society has many special interest group meetings each month open to everyone. The charge is $5 per event for nonmembers. Meetings cover a variety of topics and technology and take place in Corte Madera, Mill Valley, Tiburon, Larkspur and Greenbrae. HOSPICE BY THE BAY SUPPORT GROUPS

Hospice by the Bay offers grief workshops, drop-in  support groups,  individual and family counseling  throughout the year for adults and children.  A sliding-fee scale is available for those who qualify. The Ross Valley Seniors is a social group that meets on the first Thursday of each month.  Fairfax and San Anselmo collaborate to bring seniors a monthly luncheon with special topics.  Activities include historical talks, physical activities, information on resources for the aging population, games, crafts and many other activities. MARINE MAMMAL CENTER SCIENCE SUNDAYS

Join the Marine Mammal Center on the second and fourth Sunday of each month for Marine Science Sunday, an ocean-inspired event series about the wonders of the ocean. Visitors of all ages will enjoy interactive presentations and see the current patients at the hospital and education center. LGBTQ GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP

July 12 @ 1:30 pm - August 30 @ 3:00 pm

Hospice by the Bay offers support groups throughout the year. Find emotional support and express grief in a group that recognizes the unique needs of spousal/partner loss in the LGBTQ community. The eight-session group is Thursdays, July 12-August 30, 1:30-3 p.m. Pre-registration is required. The fee is $185 with a sliding scale fee available to those who qualify.
