Nonprofits serving Marin can apply for cash awards this month.
The Giving Marin Community Partnership launched in January 2018 with a mission to raise exposure for 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that operate in Marin County. As part of its mission, the partnership will present financial awards by January 2020 of no less than $10,000 each to approximately five selected nonprofit organizations that serve Marin County. Nonprofits will be selected by representatives from each of the participating business partners from those that successfully submit a complete application. Giving Marin does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender expression, age, height, weight, physical or mental ability, veteran status, military obligations or marital status.

Applications must be received by Nov. 1, 2019, at 5 p.m.
The Giving Marin Partners for 2019 are College of Marin, CPi Developers, Fairview Capital, Ghilotti Bros. Inc, Kaiser Permanente, Mercedes-Benz of Marin, Nugget Markets, Redwood Credit Union, Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical and Marin Independent Journal. These partners underwrite advertising and exposure for approximately three dozen nonprofits every month through the program.
