FUNDRAISING FOR MARIN NONPROFITS

The St. Vincent de Paul Conference at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Novato was presented a check from Linda Hendersen, a representative of this year’s rummage sale volunteers at St. Anthony’s. The Marin Foster Care Association hosted its second annual Blues & Brews Marin at Pacheco Ranch Winery in Novato on Oct. 12. On Sept. 19, 80 guests came together with Ferrari of San Francisco and Brouwer & Janachowski to celebrate the mission of North Marin Community Services, an  organization that has been connecting people with essential services for 46 years, including scholarships for preschool, youth enrichment programs, a weekly food pantry, emergency housing, employment assistance and mental health counseling. Last year the organization provided services for more than 6,000 people.
