Giving Marin is a partnership in which community-minded North Bay businesses and institutions underwrite advertising space for 501(c)(3) nonprofits that operate in Marin County.
Nonprofit organizations that wish for their ads to be reviewed for participation in the Giving Marin program by the partners can email their camera ready advertising (event focused or overall mission focused) to email@example.com.
Advertising deadlines for 2021:
Sept. 15 for October 2021 run dates
Oct. 15 for November 2021 run dates
Nov. 15 for December 2021 run dates
Dec. 15 for January 2022 run dates
Nonprofits may send in multiple ads and can continue providing ads throughout the year. There is no charge for the ad run if a nonprofit is selected by a partner.
Not all ads submitted may be selected to run, depending on the volume contributed by the nonprofit community. Some partners may already have designated nonprofits or specific areas of focus (arts, youth, mental health, senior services, etc.) and may not use any of the submitted nonprofit ads. Advertising of political nature will not be considered. The publisher reserves the right to review all ads.
All nonprofits that submit artwork must at the same time provide their proof of 501(c)(3) status.
Please include your mission statement or one or two sentences that describes your organization.
Production specifications for vertical ads
Image area: 4.937 inches wide x 9 inches high for vertical ad
Do not place a border on the ad.
Color or Black & White accepted.
Black text should be 100% black (not four color black).
Images: For newspaper ads, images should be 200 dpi.
