Hospice by the Bay offers grief workshops, drop-in  support groups,  individual and family counseling  throughout the year for adults and children.  A sliding-fee scale is available for those who qualify. To get a schedule of upcoming groups or to schedule counseling, go to hospicebythebay.org.   Ongoing groups: Tuesdays 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. Drop-in Grief Support Group First Thursday of each month, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.: Drop-in Group for Bereaved Parents

The Ross Valley Seniors is a social group that meets on the first Thursday of each month.  Fairfax and San Anselmo collaborate to bring seniors a monthly luncheon with special topics.  Activities include historical talks, physical activities, information on resources for the aging population, games, crafts and many other activities. MARINE MAMMAL CENTER SCIENCE SUNDAYS

Join the Marine Mammal Center on the second and fourth Sunday of each month for Marine Science Sunday, an ocean-inspired event series about the wonders of the ocean. Visitors of all ages will enjoy interactive presentations and see the current patients at the hospital and education center. Halleck Creek Ranch helps people with disabilities live a life without barriers through therapeutic horseback riding. Gentle horses are paired with volunteers that carry special riders through the West Marin countryside. Program volunteers work directly with the therapy horses and riders.
