COURSE FOR FAMILIES SUFFERING SIGNIFICANT MENTAL ILLNESS

January 9 - March 6

The National Alliance on Mental Illness of Marin will hold a free, comprehensive 12-week course designed for families of individuals suffering from significant mental illness, such as:  major depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, panic disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder and other severe mental illnesses. Halleck Creek Ranch helps people with disabilities live a life without barriers through therapeutic horseback riding. Gentle horses are paired with volunteers that carry special riders through the West Marin countryside. Program volunteers work directly with the therapy horses and riders.
