The California Reentry Program at San Quentin State Prison is a nonprofit, independent advising program that seeks to cover a wide array of future parolees’ needs including academic advising, referrals to housing resources, job advice/placement, child-support issues, and support groups. Schurig Center for Brain Injury Recovery’s mission is to improve the quality of life for survivors of acquired brain injury and their families and to raise community awareness about the causes and effects of these disabilities. Love is the Answer's Pet Connection Program provides opportunities for you and your pet to meet and visit with residents living in long-term care facilities in Marin.  This improves the quality of lives, provides comfort, helps to decrease loneliness and isolation.  Requirements are minimal:  An interview/orientation, pet evaluation, obedience and current immunizations, and an ability to commit to visits on a regular basis.  Visits can be made mornings or afternoons any day of the week.  Call (415) 472-5482 to set up an interview and orientation.
