Brayton Purcell/Thirty-Seven Wines join the initiative’s nonprofit supporters

Brayton Purcell/Thirty-Seven Wines are proud to join the Giving Marin Community Partnership as a Partner. “We are thrilled to join this group of community minded businesses and institutions and help foster volunteerism and community engagement with the nonprofit community of Marin,” Al Brayton said. Founding partner Al Brayton and senior partner and chief trial counsel Gilbert Purcell lead a 177-member team dedicated to protecting the rights of injured individuals and their families in major civil litigation, with a particular focus on toxic exposures including asbestos (mesothelioma, lung cancer and other asbestos related diseases), benzene, beryllium and artificial stone silicosis. Al Brayton started his wine journey by passing the hills that are now the vineyards of Thirty-Seven Wines on his commute for months. Planted in 2002, he and his wife Lisa manage 100 acres of vineyard at Sears Point in the Petaluma Gap AVA, growing over 10 varietals and producing 3,500 cases of award-winning wines. “We are lucky to live on the vineyard, and work directly with the vines and shepherd the grapes on their journey to becoming fine wine,” Lisa Brayton said. Brayton Purcell and Thirty-Seven Wines support local nonprofits including North Bay Children’s Center, North Marin Community Services, Lifehouse, American Lung Association, Center for Domestic Peace, Marin Humane and more. Lisa and Al Brayton have participated on several nonprofit boards. Lisa Brayton currently serves on the board of the Petaluma Gap Winegrowers Alliance. “Giving back and taking care of people has always been an important part of what we do, whether it’s in the courtroom, community service or support of local organizations, and Giving Marin exemplifies these key values,” Al Brayton said.
