Lifehouse held its annual Great Chefs & Wineries fundraising gala on April 13 at Peacock Gap in San Rafael to benefit programs that support individuals with developmental disabilities. This year Lifehouse celebrated 65 years of service to our community. With approximately 500 guests in attendance, Great Chefs and Wineries raised a record breaking amount, and donations continue to come in. The funds raised will grant opportunities for the people Lifehouse supports to live fulfilled lives and actively engage in the community. Marin Music Chest provides financial support to talented, young Marin County students of classical music. The Marin Music Chest Scholarship Winners concert will take place on May 5, 1:30 p.m., at San Domenico School’s Hall of Arts, 1500 Butterfield Road, San Anselmo.
