Tribe Rising India was born in Marin to help the Santal children of West Bengal have access to education and safe boarding in an environment that honors their cultural identity. Help grow the St. Xavier School, Gurap, from fifth grade through high school and to build the first-ever English high school for Santal students. Help by participating in the Tribe Rising India virtual gala on Sept. 17, 7 p.m. Tickets include an Indian meal with wine or beer delivered to your home. Giving Marin Partner Ghilotti Bros. Inc. is celebrating 65 years of fine work by employee Frank Palagi. He was hired in 1955 and worked his way up to management positions. He is currently vice president of safety and quality control and continues to mentor other employees. Palagi is fondly referred to as the fifth Ghilotti Brother.
