FANCY FARE, FINE ART

This year’s “Great Chefs and Wineries” went virtual with the help of the Lifehouse community, raising more than $300,000 and counting! These critical funds will go directly to provide quality programs and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Marin, San Francisco and Sonoma counties. Some of the Bay Area’s most talented chefs and California’s most exclusive wineries collaborated with Lifehouse to produce a cookbook for sponsors and donors. The organization celebrated the close of the virtual auction with a VIP toast hosted by CEO and President Nancy Dow Moody, Honorary Chair Huey Lewis, Wine Committee Chair Sid Sall and Stuart Bryan of Pride Mountain Wines. Pictured (top) are event hosts and participants, (above, top to bottom) Teodros Gad, who recorded one of his favorite songs,” Imagine” by John Lennon, for the event, KPIX reporter and event Master of Ceremonies Betty Yu and board member and parent of a Lifehouse client, James Ricks.  -Photos courtesy of Lifehouse
