Valley Oak Wealth Management’s ninth annual “BIG Shred” benefiting Homeward Bound of Marin on June 5 was a huge success, organizers said, breaking previous records. More than 18,000 pounds of paper was shredded in three and a half hours. The event was supported by volunteers and colleague partners Zenith Instant Print, Kreativz, Call & Metcalfe, Marin Sanitary Service, Integrity Shred, and Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church and school that provided the blacktop location. “Having the opportunity to take part in a community-wide event such as the ‘BIG Shred’ is an ideal way to deepen the level of service and experience I provide to my clients and neighbors,” said Tim Russell, founder/wealth adviser of Valley Oak Wealth Management. -Photo courtesy of Valley Oak Wealth Management
