SOROPTIMISTS HONOR MARIN WOMEN OF VISION

  Soroptimist International of Novato will hold its 40th annual spring fundraiser, Women of Vision, on Saturday, April 23 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Bill and Adele Jonas Center at the College of Marin Indian Valley Campus in Novato.
  This year 11 women who are extraordinary leaders and have made significant contributions to Marin County communities will be honored.
  Soroptimist International of Novato is an organization of women who use their collective power to provide women and girls with the resources and opportunities they need to reach their potential and live their dreams. All proceeds from the Women of Vision Spring Fundraiser will go toward the many projects that benefit women and girls locally and globally including grants for women trying to better themselves through education, scholarships and awards for volunteer efforts. Soroptimist International of Novato also supports many nonprofit organizations including Center for Domestic Peace, Gilead House, Homeward Bound, North Marin Community Services, Sparkle Foundation and the Daraja Academy in Kenya.
