CLASS OF 2022 VOLUNTEERS LAUDED

  Seventeen Marin high school students received awards from National Charity League Inc., Marin Chapter for their six years of service to more than 18 local nonprofits at the Corinthian Yacht Club in Tiburon on May 15. Together with their mothers, the students have volunteered at a wide range of Marin organizations since seventh grade including Extra Food, St. Vincent Paul Society, Adopt A Family of Marin, Special Olympics, Marin Community Food Bank and Cedars.

   “We are extremely proud of the NCL Class of 2022. Not only did these young women develop strong leadership skills, but they also showed their determination and resilience during the pandemic,” said Tracy Coombe, chapter co-president. 

    National Charity League Inc., Marin Chapter has more than 220 members and provides hands-on volunteer service for over 17 philanthropic organizations in the community.
