FUNDRAISER TOUCHED BY POWER OUTAGE

After a two-year hiatus, The Godmothers of Timothy Murphy School at St. Vincent’s held their annual spring fundraiser on May 11 at Marin Country Club.

The event is a major campaign for The Godmothers and traditionally includes bingo, a raffle, vendors and live entertainment. This year, an unexpected neighborhood-wide power outage prevented additional sales of bingo and raffle tickets as well as the opportunity for guests to contribute to Fund-A-Need.

The Fund-A-Need project supports a supervised reading program, improvements to the baseball field and supplements funding shortfalls for field trips, clothing and personal needs of St. Vincent students.

Through July 15, donations may be mailed to The Godmothers of St. Vincent’s Boys School/Catholic Charities, 1 St. Vincent Drive, San Rafael, California 94903. For more information, visit godmothers.org.
