RELAY FOR LIFE OF MARIN RETURNS TO BATTLE CANCER

Relay for Life of Marin County is coming to Hamilton School in Novato Aug. 6-7. This annual event helps those facing cancer and honors those who have lost their battle to cancer.
The event supports the American Cancer Society’s mission to save lives with early screening and prevention. This year’s theme is “There’s No Place Like Hope,” and references “The Wizard of Oz.” Decorate a yellow brick road to identify your campsite, participate in activities and enter the scarecrow building contest.
Relay For Life is the world’s largest volunteer-based fundraising event. For more than 36 years, communities across the world have come together to honor and remember loved ones and take action for lifesaving change.
