The San Rafael Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Women of Industry Committee, hosted the ninth annual Women of Industry Celebration on Oct. 22 at the Jonas Center at College of Marin’s Indian Valley Campus. The evening featured keynote speaker, Leslie Sbrocco, host of “Check Please!” on PBS.
Leslie Ruhland, executive vice president of Accuchex Payroll and Workforce Solutions, and Kim Fink, CEO of Sun First Solar, were this year’s Women of Industry Award recipients. Honorees are leaders in business and demonstrate professional excellence in their field. They have a genuine commitment to pushing boundaries, motivating others, building relationships with colleagues and employees. These women are mentors and advocate for the inclusion of everyone in our community, especially women and girls.

They join an amazing group of women leaders who embrace the consistent pursuit of excellence, dedication to their field, commitment to social change and service to our community,” said Joanne Webster, CEO of the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce.
