GODMOTHERS HOST FESTIVE HOLIDAY TEA

High school volunteers welcome attendees to the holiday tea with a smile and a teddy bear.

The Godmothers of Catholic Charities St. Vincent School for Boys hosted a teddy bear tea on Dec. 4 at the San Rafael campus. More than 130 guests attended the event that included pictures with Santa, holiday carols and an excerpt from “The Nutcracker” performed by Stapleton ballet dancers.  Each child received a teddy bear, and students from Branson, Redwood, Marin Catholic, Terra Linda and St. Patrick’s provided volunteer support at the event.

The Godmothers of Catholic Charities St. Vincent’s School for Boys actively support the boys at St. Vincent’s by fundraising and volunteering to help provide a safe, nurturing environment where they can build self-esteem, improve social skills and renew trust.
