On June 30, Vivalon, a San Rafael-based nonprofit that advances independence for older adults and people with disabilities, partnered with the Multicultural Center of Marin to provide a free intergenerational outing to China Camp State Park.
Thirty participants of all ages enjoyed a guided nature walk led in Spanish by Marco Berger from the Multicultural Center of Marin, followed by a picnic lunch overlooking San Pablo Bay. This outing is part of a series of intergenerational outings made possible by a grant from Marin County Parks that aims to expand access to the outdoors and connect communities to parks.
