CORTE MADERA LIONS CLUB CAR SHOW RETURNS

   The Corte Madera Lions Club will host its third annual EV and Classic Car Show on Sept. 9 at the Village in Corte Madera. 

   Marin electric vehicle dealers, including Giving Marin Partner Price Family Dealerships, Marin Luxury Group, Novato Ford, IndiGO Auto Group, Manly Automotive Group Boardwalk Auto, Mini of Marin and Swickard Auto Group will be showcasing their EVs. Attendees will also have the chance to check out Polestar, Tesla, Volvo, Jaguar, Toyota, Volkswagen, Hyundai/Genesis, Lucid, Mercedes, Mini, Ford, Vinfast, Porsche, Audi, Land Rover and Bentley and Maserati at the event.   

   Up to 100 pre-1975 classic cars, both domestic and foreign, will be eligible for People’s Choice awards in eight categories, including muscle car, hot rod, survivor, sports car and motorcycle. There will also be a Best of Show award, as judged by last year’s winners.

   Admission is free. Visitors will enjoy food from Amy’s Organics and Pig in a Pickle, refreshments from the Corte Madera Lions, and live music. The Central Marin Police, Central Marin Fire, California Highway Patrol and the Corte Madera Climate Action Committee/Ride and Drive Clean are partnering with the Corte Madera Lions for this event. 

   All proceeds support local charities including scholarships to College of Marin’s Auto and Machine and Technology Program. For more information, visit cortemaderalions.com.
