Environmental Action Committee Marin hosted its community of supporters for its first Winter Gathering since 2019. The event took place at Lodge at Marconi Buck Hall, offering scenic views of Tomales Bay on Dec. 9.
The gathering was a celebration of EAC’s grassroots advocacy and the individuals who contribute to its success. Attendees enjoyed an array of seasonal drinks, appetizers and live local music.
The zero-waste event aligned with Marin County’s Reusable Foodware Ordinance, Senate Bill 1383, and the Cleaner California Coast Initiative, which focuses on the use of reusables including utensils, cups and plates, composting all organic material, and prioritizing recyclables.
