The Environmental Action Committee of West Marin announced the appointment of Ashley Eagle-Gibbs as the new executive director of the 53-year-old organization. Eagle-Gibbs succeeds Morgan Patton, who resigned in September.
A licensed environmental attorney, Eagle-Gibbs has dedicated her career to nonprofit and public interest work and has been a critical member of EAC’s leadership team
over the past seven years. She managed EAC’s policy and advocacy work, establishing a record of successful advocacy concerning land use, coastal protection and biodiversity policies in Marin County and throughout California.
“As a Marin native dedicated to environmental protection, joining EAC in 2016 was a dream job for me. I am honored to serve as our executive director and work together to create a future for the next generation which includes my twin 9-year-old boys,” Eagle-Gibbs said.
