Marin Charitable held its grant ceremony Feb. 8 at Homeward Bound in Novato. Marin Charitable is a nonprofit organization that raises funds to award to deserving agencies who provide essential services to underserved and at-risk 11- to 18- year-olds in Marin County. This year they awarded $251,165 to 57 different Marin County agencies. The ceremony featured guest speaker Laura McDonnell, executive director and founder of Next Steps Liaison Project.
