NATIVE PLANT SOCIETY 50TH YEAR BLOOMS

The Marin Chapter of the California Native Plant Society (cnpsmarin.org) will mark its 50th anniversary with ways to celebrate the beauty of Marin this summer: Marin native plant challenge: Locate and photo-document 50 native plants in Marin’s wildlands and be eligible for a drawing at the organization’s anniversary celebration on Aug. 24. For a working list with hints, visit cnpsmarin.org/ 50th-anniversary-challenge. 50 acts of caring challenge: Head to @marincnps on Instagram to learn 50 simple changes you can make that benefit the world around us. Accept the challenge, complete as many or as few as you like and share on Instagram. For more information, visit cnpsmarin.org/ 50-acts-of-caring. Student native plant photo challenge: The photography challenge is open to students enrolled in Marin high schools in 2024. Photos can be taken at any time of the year but they must be taken in Marin County. Exhibition of juried work will be held in December.
