St. Vincent de Paul Society of Marin received a special gift from the Knights of Columbus No. 1292. The group worked at the St. Vincent development team office at 745 B St. in San Rafael and transformed the landscaping. The volunteers cleaned up the side garden and front yard, removed the dead plants, added new drought-resistant varieties, and installed an irrigation system. “The time, effort and love that the Knights of Columbus put into crafting our new office gardenand entryway into something absolutely exquisite is incredible,” said Chief Philanthropy Officer Kathleen Lazor Woodcock. “We could not be more grateful. The Knights of Columbus have breathed life into the once neglected garden and made the space beautiful for benefactors and clients alike.”
