DOWNTOWN LIBRARY TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE

The Downtown Library in San Rafael will close
on Sept. 2 for safety and infrastructure updates.
A pop-up library, located at 1009 Fourth St. in
San Rafael, will open on Sept. 16. Services will
include public programs, space to sit, read and
relax, free public Wi-Fi, and access to laptops,
holds pickup and a variety of books, DVDs,
audiobooks, video games, magazines and other
materials. Additionally, temporary expanded
hours at all San Rafael public libraries will begin
Sept. 16.
