For over 25 years, the American Association of University Women, Marin Branch Scholarship Fund has awarded a week at Tech Trek camp to local middle school girls interested in STEM careers. This year Tech Trek took place at Sonoma State University, where the girls stayed in the campus dorms, attended classes taught by STEM professionals and met like-minded classmates.
Recently, the AAUW Marin Branch kicked off its 2024-25 year by meeting with 2024 Tech Trek campers, Tech Trek alumni, College of Marin gift awardees and thanking their many members and sponsors who made it all possible, including Giving Marin Community Partnership, which last year awarded AAUW Marin a $5,000 grant for Tech Trek scholarships.
