WildCare’s wildlife hospital began accepting injured and orphaned animal patients at its new temporary location on Sept. 30. WildCare Transition will be home to the organization for two years while the original facility on Albert Park Lane in central San Rafael is under construction. All programs, including Terwilliger Nature Education and wildlife education exhibits, will also be located at the temporary site next to the Gallinas Little League Field on Schmidt Lane, off North San Pedro Road in San Rafael. Those who have rescued an injured or orphaned wild animal can call WildCare’s hotline at 415-456-7283. To bring a rescued animal to WildCare, map to Gallinas Little League Field in San Rafael.
