On Sept. 15, 100+ Teens Who Care Bay Area held its third event, raising more than $550 for Grateful Dogs Rescue, a nonprofit that saves dogs from kill shelters by providing medical care, foster homes and training before adoption. The global organization gives high school students the opportunity to make a difference in their communities by collectively selecting and donating to a local charity. The Bay Area chapter, led by The Branson School student Hudson Blechman, has raised over $2,200 for three nonprofits, including Postpartum Support Center of Marin. “We are so incredibly grateful to 100+ Teens Who Care Bay Area for their generous donation of almost $1,000,” said Ivana Jagodic, Postpartum Support Center founder and executive director. “We used the funds to purchase diapers and wipes to support over 100 local children in need.” 100+ Teens Who Care Bay Area has representation from six Marin County high schools. Interested teens can email hudson_blechman@branson.org. For more information about the organization, visit 100twc.org.
