Vivalon and nursing students at Dominican University of California hosted a health fair at the Vivalon Healthy Aging Campus on April 8 for over 100 attendees. This was an opportunity for Vivalon participants and guests to receive first-hand expert advice and wellness resources. The health fair was the first collaboration between Vivalon and students at Dominican University, co-organized by Dr. Kendra Hoepper, Assistant Professor of Nursing Deborah Meshel, and Dominican University nursing student Lisa Isley.

The health fair brought together health organizations and professionals to provide resources for attendees on essential health topics such
as nutrition, skin care, vital signs monitoring, CPR education, fall prevention, mental health support, sexual health information, community health resources, age-related wellness topics and free vision screening provided by the Gallinas Lions Club. In addition to Dominican University of California and Gallinas Lions Club, attendees had the opportunity to engage with professionals from The Buck Institute, Marin Community Clinics, By the Bay Health, MarinHealth, Marin County Commission on Aging, Marin Health & Human Services: Aging & Adult Services, Senior Advocacy Services, American Heart Association, Hearing Loss Association and more.
