After WildCare’s groundbreaking ceremony on May 3, demolition of the outdated wildlife hospital facilities at its longtime site on Albert Park Lane in San Rafael began. Plans for the new structure include preserving the historic building which dates back to 1889.
The old building will move to the adjacent parking lot so grading and construction may begin on the three-story, modern wildlife hospital. The new facility will wrap around the historical building when the project is complete.
During construction, WildCare is operating out of a temporary location behind 251 N. San Pedro information at Road in San Rafael. Learn more discoverwildcare.org/transition
