The North Bay Children’s Center hosted its 36th annual benefit gala, “A Night in Tuscany,” on May 17 at the Sonoma Veterans Memorial Hall. The evening brought together 280 guests from across the bay in support
of high-quality early childhood education. The event raised $371,000 in support of the nonprofit’s mission.
The event featured a live and silent auction, local artisan offerings and a three-course dinner prepared by Park Avenue Catering. Guests enjoyed wines from Thirty-Seven Wines, Ramey Wine Cellars, Gary Farrell Winery, Rodney Strong Vineyards and Albini Family Vineyards. Marin County Supervisor Eric Lucan served as master of ceremonies. The night featured a tribute to Neil Hennessy, recipient of North Bay Children Center’s 2025 Champion for Children Award for his dedication to youth and education.

“Our amazing community came out in force to support our mission, and their generosity was truly inspiring, said Susan Gilmore, co-founder and CEO of North Bay Children’s Center. “We’re reminded that we’renot in this work alone — every paddle raised, and every dollar given, brings us closer to a future where all children can thrive. We couldn’t do it without them.” For more information, visit nbcc.net.
