Kids Cooking For Life, a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating children and families about healthy cooking and nutrition, is proud to announce it has received a generous grant from the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation, made possible through the Sprouts Farmers Market location in San Rafael. This funding will support Kids Cooking For Life’s mission to empower youth with hands-on cooking classes, nutritional education and lifelong healthy eating habits. The grant will specifically help expand programs in underserved communities across Marin County and the greater Bay Area.

“We are honored and excited to partner with Sprouts Farmers Market and the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation,” said Lara Rajninger, executive director of Kids Cooking For Life.

“This grant enables us to reach more kids with the tools they need to lead healthier lives and make informed food choices. We are deeply grateful for Sprouts’ commitment to wellness and community.” The Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation supports nonprofit organizations that provide nutrition education and increase access to fresh, healthy food. The foundation empowers local stores to nominate and support organizations that are making a direct impact in their neighborhoods.
