The 2025 SchoolsRule-Marin Gala, “On the Road to Equity – Driving Change,” was held Sept. 20 at a private classic car venue in San Rafael. The event raised more than $400,000 for essential public school programs across Marin County, including arts, literacy, technology and student health.
“The work we do today, the support we offer, and the kindness we show — these are the legacies we leave behind,” said Trisha Garlock, SchoolsRule co-founder and lifelong advocate for educational equity. Proceeds will be distributed to each school district’s foundation at an event on Oct. 28 to support vital programs. The funds raised will honor Superintendent Emerita Mary Jane Burke through the Equity in Education Fund to ensure resources reach students and schools that need them most.
