On Oct. 8 members of the 100MARIN giving circle recognized Marin Foster Care Association with a grant of $15,000 for their work providing critical support to children in foster care and the families who care for them. Through advocacy, resources and community connection, the organization transforms hardship into healing and hope.

Five nonprofits were recognized at the event: Sanzuma, EAH Housing, Center for Domestic Peace, Enriching Lives through Music and Marin Foster Care Association. Each nominee received a $1,000 cash award.

Founded in 2015, the 100MARIN Giving Circle is a network of more than 125 members passionate about supporting local nonprofits. By pooling contributions starting at $150, 100MARIN has donated over $400,000 to Marin County nonprofits since its founding.

“Thanks to the generosity of 100MARIN members and sponsors, we’re able to provide crucial funding to local nonprofits,” said Linda Jacobs, CEO of CVNL. “This event highlights the power of collective giving — where individual contributions come together to create lasting change and strengthen the nonprofits that are the backbone of our community. In a time when local organizations face increasing demand and limited resources, this collective impact is more important than ever.”

In 2021, 100MARIN partnered with CVNL to expand support for Marin County’s diverse community of nonprofits. With 60 years of experience, CVNL continues to host award and recognition events across the Bay Area that celebrate and strengthen the nonprofit and volunteer sector. To learn more, visit cvnl.org
