The Auxiliary Board of St. Vincent de Paul Society of Marin hosted their signature gala Pennies from Heaven at the Meadow Club in Fairfax on Oct. 11. The sold-out event hosted 210 benefactors who collectively raised over $700,000. The event featured Hog Island oysters, a caviar bar, wine and spirits tastings, a curated live and silent auction and dinner.
“We are incredibly grateful to our generous benefactors who believe in and support the great mission of St. Vincent de Paul Society feeding our hungry and housing our homeless in Marin County,” said Kathleen Woodcock, chief philanthropy officer at St. Vincent de Paul.
