To Celebrate Life held its 30th anniversary Stepping Out To Celebrate Life Gala on Sept. 27 at Marin Center Exhibit Hall in San Rafael. The event honored the journey and legacy that have defined the organization for the past three decades.

More than 450 guests helped raise $645,000 to benefit Bay Area nonprofits that provide direct and emergency services and financial assistance to underserved breast cancer patients. Funds raised will benefit the foundation’s 2026 Breast Cancer Grants Program which supports Bay Area nonprofits that provide direct and emergency services to women and men navigating health and financial challenges of a breast cancer diagnosis.

From the 2024-25 grant cycle, 2,925 individuals received 6,586 services, and 14 breast cancer diagnoses resulted from diagnostic and navigation services funded through the program.
