Ninety-two community members have been nominated in eight award categories
Center for Volunteer & Nonprofit Leadership has announced nominees for the 33rd Annual Heart of Marin Awards, a celebration of the people and organizations setting the bar for local nonprofits.
CVNL, together with presenting sponsor Bank of Marin, recognizes these organizations’ importance at the Heart of Marin Awards, the largest volunteer and nonprofit recognition event in Marin County.
“In a year when many in our community are navigating difficult challenges, Heart of Marin reminds us of what
is possible when we come together,” said Linda Jacobs, CEO of CVNL. “This event is an opportunity to gather, honor the incredible work of nonprofits, businesses and volunteers, and acknowledge the courage, commitment and hope they bring to Marin every day.”

Now in its 33rd year, CVNL will award $35,000 to recipients across eight categories and honor all nominees at the awards luncheon on Thursday, Jan. 8 at the Marin Center.
