On Dec. 7, Godmothers of Catholic Charities St. Vincent’s School for Boys held the annual Teddy Bear Tea. Guests enjoyed a traditional tea party, live music, a raffle, a visit from Santa and a ballet performance by the Stapleton School of the Performing Arts.
The Godmothers have supported the school and St. Vincent’s parish since 1988. This past year, the parish was in need of repair to damaged stained glass windows. Parishioner Richard Gallagher reached out to Father Andrew Ginter, who agreed to support the effort through the asking of funds from the pulpit.
Father Ginter went directly to the Godmothers, who agreed to help process donations and keep the parish up to date on the progress of the repair.
“The Godmothers have always been generous,” Father Ginter said. “They always step up to the need, whatever it is. We are so grateful for their support.”
