As in prior seasons, Mayflower Chorus has supported another Marin nonprofit that complements
the theme of an upcoming performance. Mayflower singers pooled individual donations to contribute more than $600 to LITA (Love Is the Answer) in honor of the group’s May show, “A Little Help from Our Friends.”
LITA Executive Director Barbara Brown received the donations from Mayflower Chorus singers at a recent rehearsal. For 50 years, LITA volunteers have offered companionship and activities to people isolated in long-term care or at home. Mayflower’s performance, “A Little Help from our Friends” will be held May 1-2 at the Marin Center Showcase Theater in San Rafael.
