SUBMITTING CONTENT

 

The Giving Marin page runs each Thursday in the Marin Independent Journal. Giving Marin can help your 501 (c) (3) by promoting events, volunteer needs and highlighting milestones and news.  Content and announcements will run as space allows; a submission to Giving Marin does not guarantee placement. Please submit information as early as possible, at least 3 weeks prior.  

Types of acceptable submissions:

VOLUNTEERS

  • Submit an overview of the need, the date or dates, skills required and a contact name or website to direct readers for more information.
  • Send to sara@givingmarin.com

EVENTS (PRIOR)

  • Submit an overview of the event, the date or dates, ticket prices, beneficiary, a contact name or website to direct readers for more information.
  • Send to sara@givingmarin.com

EVENTS (POST)

  • Submit an overview of the event, the date or dates, ticket prices, beneficiary, a contact name or website to direct readers for more information.
  • Photos with names and titles, if appropriate.
  • Funds raised, if appropriate (can be approximate or “surpassed goal.”)
