To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Foundation presented its 23rd annual gala “Stepping Out to Celebrate Life” on Sept. 29 at Marin Center Exhibit Hall in San Rafael. Approximately 500 guests attended the event that raised more than $500,000. The fashion show featured 36 “Thrivers” who gathered on the stage at the end of the show to get the crowd ready to raise their paddles for Fund A Need. The fashion show outfits were provided courtesy of Alice Becker, Eileen Fisher, Helen Lyall, Macy’s, UKO and West Coast Leather.

Stepping Out model Elizabeth Redick struck a pose for the cameras (top photo) while Stepping Out model Andrea Roussos celebrated on the catwalk ( middle photo). Stepping Out model Leslie Kutsenkow with her escort, Dr. Tatiana Kelil, (bottom photo) were cheered on by other escort doctors onstage. Physician escorts included prominent local breast cancer surgeons, oncologists and radiation oncologists from Marin Cancer Care, Kaiser Permanente, Marin General Hospital and UCSF.
