Hospice by the Bay held its annual gala on Nov. 3 at The Seminary at Strawberry in Mill Valley. Approximately 420 guests celebrated the Pop Art movement made famous by Warhol, Lichtenstein and Oldenburg, while raising more than $450,000 to benefit the organization’s compassionate programs and community care. The gala evening was hosted by Hospice by the Bay CEO Kitty Whitaker and featured silent and live auctions, pop art décor and live music by The Boombox. West Marin Senior Services raised $45,000 at its annual Stockstill Garden Party in Point Reyes. Stockstill House offers assisted living for 8 residents, owned and operated by West Marin Senior Services. More than 75 guests attended the afternoon event in the garden area.
