The Museum of the American Indian’s annual family friendly event, the Native American Trade Feast, will take place on Sept. 14, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., at Miwok Park, 2200 Novato Blvd. This free event will feature Native American arts and crafts and performances by (above, top) Kalpulli Anahuak Aztec Dancers, (above, middle) Hoop Dancer Eddie Madril, (above, bottom) Sonoma County Pomo Dancers, Hulu Manu O’o Dancers, Red Voice Drum and Unole Drum. There will be
Miwok songs and stories, basketry demonstrations, regalia making, shell bead drilling, activities for kids, book sales and tours of the museum. Parking will be available off site at the Lutheran Church. For information, go to marinindian.com.

The ninth annual North Bay Science Discovery Day will take place on Oct. 26, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds, 1350 Bennett Valley Road, Santa Rosa.
