GIVING MARIN GRANTS $60K

The Giving Marin Community Partnership supports local nonprofits with free marketing opportunities throughout the year. At the end of 2019, Giving Marin, through an application process, chose six nonprofits to receive $10,000 each. The grant awards ceremony was held at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical in Novato on Jan. 15. The Giving Marin grant ceremony welcomed winners and their guests, elected officials and the Giving Marin Community Partners who underwrite marketing for local nonprofits in the IJ newspaper, marinij.com and across the Giving Marin social media platforms. Local officials celebrated the accomplishments of the grant recipients. State Assemblymember Marc Levine spoke about the importance of the business community supporting local nonprofit organizations.
