MARIN CHARITABLE ISSUES GRANTS

Marin Charitable’s annual grant ceremony was held on Feb. 13 in Novato. The organization distributed $180,000 in grants to 54 agencies serving over 9,000 children in Marin. The Marin Charitable grantees serve school-aged children in the areas of critical support, education and enrichment. No One Eats Alone Day was celebrated on Feb. 14 by Marin students along with students at 92 schools in the Bay Area and middle and high schools across the country. The event is one of many ways Beyond Differences, a  student-led organization, helps make sure that no middle or high school student suffers social isolation.
