GIVING MARIN AWARDS $75,000 IN GRANTS TO LOCAL NONPROFITS

Giving Marin awarded 12 Marin nonprofit organizations with $5,000 to $10,000 grants for a total of $75,000 for their extraordinary work in 2020. The Feb. 25 Zoom celebration included remarks from Assemblymember Marc Levine, Redwood Credit Union CEO Brett Martinez and Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Government Affairs Executive Director Betsy Ricketts, who shared why her company gave an additional $25,000 to the grant program this year. The grant recipients are Bayside Martin Luther King Jr. Academy Foundation Arts Plus, Canal Alliance, Ceres Community Project, Community Action Marin, Community Institute for Psychotherapy, Family & Children’s Law Center, Gilead House, Marin Foster Care Association, Novato Spirit, Project Avary, Sparkle Foundation and WildCare.
