Marin Music Chest presented its annual “Scholarship Winners Concert” on June 6 featuring solo performances by 12 young classical musicians. They were selected to receive scholarships from earlier auditions juried by the Marin Music Chest’s Artistic Council. The Salvation Army in Marin County celebrated National Donut Day on June 4 by delivering donuts to 69 first responder locations across Marin by The Salvation Army advisory board and Lts. David and Diane Shatto, including Sausalito, Marin City, Mill Valley, Tiburon, Corte Madera, Kentfield, Larkspur, Greenbrae, Ross, San Anselmo, Fairfax, Woodacre, Point Reyes, Petaluma, Tomales, San Rafael, Marinwood, Nicasio and Novato.
